SIRF Stores Seller Terms

The rules for running your own store on SIRF, in plain language: you are the seller, SIRF provides the software.

Effective 31 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-31

1. What SIRF Stores is

  • SIRF Stores is software that lets you run your own online store at sirf.one/store/<your-store> or on your own domain. These terms are an agreement between you (the seller) and Tweelabs Electronics and IT Private Limited, which operates SIRF.
  • They add to the general SIRF Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where they differ, these terms apply to your store.
  • You accept these terms when you create a store or go live. If we change them in a way that matters, we will tell you in your dashboard and you will need to accept the new version before you can go live again.

2. You are the seller

  • You sell your products directly to your buyers. The contract of sale is between you and the buyer; SIRF is not a party to it and does not own, stock, inspect or ship your products.
  • You are responsible for your products, prices, descriptions, photos, stock, delivery, cancellations, returns, exchanges, refunds, warranties and customer support.
  • You must be at least 18 and legally able to sell. If you sell for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

3. Information you must show buyers

  • Your legal name, full address and a phone number or email buyers can reach, and your GSTIN if you have one. SIRF shows these on your store's policies page and on invoices.
  • For each product: the total price including all taxes, any shipping or cash-on-delivery charges, and, where the law requires, the MRP, net quantity, country of origin, manufacturer or importer details, and expiry or best-before date.
  • A clear return, refund and exchange policy. You can start from SIRF's standard policy and edit it. Whatever your policy says, you must accept returns of items that arrive damaged, defective, wrong or not as described.
  • Product details and prices must be accurate. Do not use fake discounts, invented reference prices, fake reviews, hidden charges or pressure tactics ("dark patterns"). You may hide reviews that are abusive or not about the product, but not genuine reviews because they are negative.

4. What you may not sell

  • Anything illegal in India or the buyer's location, or that needs a licence you do not hold. This includes weapons and ammunition, drugs and controlled substances, prescription medicines, tobacco and e-cigarettes, alcohol, wildlife products, counterfeit or pirated goods, stolen goods, adult content, and hazardous materials.
  • Products that infringe someone else's trademark, copyright, design or patent.
  • Financial products, lottery or gambling, and services that need a regulator's approval.
  • SIRF can remove products, pause or suspend a store, and report to the authorities when the law requires or when there is a serious risk to buyers.

5. Fees

  • SIRF Stores is free to use. SIRF currently charges no commission on your sales.
  • When online payments are switched on for your store, the payment gateway's charge (shown in your settings, currently about 2.36% including GST) is deducted from each online payment before it reaches you.
  • If SIRF introduces a fee, we will give you at least 30 days' notice in your dashboard and by email. It will apply only to orders placed after the change.

6. Cash on delivery and online payments

  • For cash-on-delivery orders, you or your courier collect the money; SIRF does not handle it.
  • Online payments are processed by Razorpay. You need a linked account that passes Razorpay's KYC checks. SIRF never sees buyers' card or UPI details.
  • Money from an online order is held until the return window after delivery has passed (and any open return is settled), then released to your bank account. Refunds for that order are taken from the held amount first.
  • If a refund, chargeback or reversal is due after your payout, you must repay it. SIRF may recover it from later payouts.
  • Where the law requires SIRF to collect tax at source (for example under section 52 of the CGST Act) or deduct TDS on payouts, we will do so and show it in your payout records.

7. Orders, delivery and returns

  • Confirm or cancel each order promptly, ship within the time you promise, and add a tracking number when you ship.
  • Handle returns and exchanges within your stated window and policy, and refund buyers within 7 days of approving a refund.
  • Acknowledge buyer complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. You are the first point of contact for complaints about your products.
  • If you cannot fulfil an order, cancel it and refund any money received straight away.

8. Tax and invoices

  • You are responsible for GST registration, charging the right GST, filing returns and paying the tax on your sales. SIRF's invoice tool helps but does not give tax advice.
  • Invoice numbers are given when you mark an order shipped. Check each invoice before sharing it.

9. Buyers' personal data

  • You receive buyers' names, phone numbers, addresses and order details to fulfil their orders. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you decide how you use this data and are responsible for it.
  • Use buyers' data only to fulfil, support and invoice their orders, and for marketing only if they agreed to it. Do not sell it or share it except with your courier or payment provider.
  • SIRF stores and processes this data on your behalf to run your store, and keeps it secure as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • If you add a Meta Pixel or Google Analytics ID, tracking loads only after the buyer agrees on your store. You are responsible for your use of those services.

10. Your content and your domain

  • You keep ownership of your logo, photos and descriptions. You give SIRF permission to host and display them to run and promote your store.
  • If you connect your own domain, you must own it or have the right to use it. SIRF issues the HTTPS certificate for it while it points to SIRF.

11. Suspension and closing

  • SIRF may pause or suspend a store that breaks these terms or the law, or that gets repeated complaints. We will tell you why, unless the law stops us, and you can reply to hello@sirf.one.
  • You can pause your store at any time. Buyers can still open their past orders, and you must still complete open orders, returns and refunds.
  • When a store closes, SIRF keeps order and invoice records for as long as tax and consumer law requires.

12. Liability

  • SIRF provides the software as it is. We work to keep it available, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted.
  • You will cover SIRF's losses from claims caused by your products, your content, or your breach of these terms or the law.
  • To the extent the law allows, SIRF's total liability to you for SIRF Stores is limited to the fees you paid SIRF for it in the 12 months before the claim (₹0 while the service is free), and SIRF is not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
  • These terms are governed by Indian law. Courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh have jurisdiction.
