Privacy Policy

We believe in full transparency about how your data is handled. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how it's protected — in plain language.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: When you sign in via Google or email, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo URL provided by your authentication provider.
  • Listing content: Product titles, descriptions, images you upload, pricing, contact details (WhatsApp number, custom links), categories, and tags.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, listing views, WhatsApp button taps, and clicks — tracked to power the analytics dashboard and improve platform performance.
  • Payment metadata: When you pay for a listing or Verified badge via Razorpay, we receive your transaction ID, amount, and payment status. We do not store card numbers or sensitive payment data — Razorpay handles that securely.
  • Device/browser data: Browser type, language, general location (country/region), and referrer URL via standard web server logs and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and display your seller listings on sirf.one and share them via shareable links.
  • To provide you with an analytics dashboard showing views, WhatsApp taps, and engagement on your listings.
  • To process listing fee payments and Verified badge subscriptions through Razorpay.
  • To display the Verified Seller badge on verified listings and profiles.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g., payment confirmation, account alerts) if you've provided an email address.
  • To moderate the platform and remove listings that violate our Terms of Service.
  • To improve platform reliability, debug issues, and add features based on usage patterns.

3. Information Visible to the Public

  • Your listing pages — including title, description, price, images, category, and custom buttons — are publicly accessible to anyone with the URL.
  • Your seller profile — including name, avatar, bio (if set), and all active listings — is publicly visible at your seller page URL.
  • Your WhatsApp number or website URL, if added as custom action buttons, will be visible on your listing page.
  • Your Verified Seller badge status is publicly shown on your listing and profile pages.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Firebase (Google): We use Firebase Authentication, Firestore (database), and Firebase Storage (listing images). These services are operated by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Razorpay: Payment processing for listing fees and Verified badges. Razorpay handles all card/UPI data and is PCI-DSS compliant. We only receive transaction metadata.
  • Vercel / Hosting: Our platform is hosted on Vercel, which handles server infrastructure, CDN delivery, and network logs.
  • Analytics: We may use lightweight analytics to track platform usage. No third-party advertising or tracking pixels are currently used.

5. Data Security

  • All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Firebase and Razorpay services use industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Access to your account is protected by Firebase Authentication. We do not store passwords — sign-in is handled via OAuth providers.
  • Admin access to platform data is restricted and audited.
  • Listing images are stored in Firebase Storage with access controls. We recommend not uploading personal documents or sensitive images as listing photos.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

  • SIRF uses browser local storage to save draft listing data while you create a listing. This data stays on your device only.
  • Authentication tokens from Firebase are stored in session storage/cookies to keep you signed in.
  • We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Your listings remain live until you delete them from your account. Deleted listings are permanently removed from public view.
  • Your account data (profile, listings, payment history metadata) is retained while your account is active.
  • To request full account deletion, contact us at support@sirf.one. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
  • Payment transaction records may be retained as required by Indian financial regulations.

8. Your Rights

  • Access: You can view all the information you've published on SIRF through your account dashboard.
  • Correction: You can edit or update your listing content, profile, and contact details at any time.
  • Deletion: You can delete your listings at any time. For full account deletion, contact us.
  • Portability: Contact us if you need an export of your listing data.
  • Objection: If you believe data is being processed incorrectly, contact us and we will investigate within 15 business days.

9. Policy Updates

  • We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. If material changes are made, we will update the 'Effective Date' at the top of this page.
  • Continued use of SIRF after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
  • For significant changes, we may notify sellers via email or an in-platform banner.
