Safety Standards & Guidelines

At SIRF, child safety and platform trust are our highest priorities. We maintain a safe, clean, and transparent marketplace environment with strict compliance protocols.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy (CSAE / CSAM)

  • Absolute Zero Tolerance: SIRF has a strict, absolute zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
  • Immediate Ban & Takedown: Any account, product page, or media found listing, uploading, or attempting to distribute child sexual abuse material will be permanently terminated immediately without warning.
  • Law Enforcement Cooperation: In accordance with the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000, and global safety standards, we actively cooperate with law enforcement. All offending content, user accounts, IP logs, and seller metadata will be immediately preserved and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C).

2. Prohibited Content & User Behavior

  • Sellers may not upload, list, or share any user-generated content (UGC) that depicts, describes, or references sexual abuse, exploitation, adult content, nudity, violence, or illegal services.
  • Threats, harassment, hate speech, bullying, or attempts to impersonate other brands/individuals are strictly prohibited.
  • Sellers must not post fraudulent product pages, phishing links, or listings designed to capture buyers' personal information deceptively.

3. Content Moderation & 24-Hour Review

  • Proactive & Reactive Moderation: We use automated filtering to flag suspicious keywords/images during listing creation, combined with manual audits from our dedicated moderation team.
  • 24-Hour Review Commitment: Every single report filed by our community is reviewed by a human moderator. Action is taken within 24 hours to remove objectionable content and suspend violating sellers.

4. Flagging & Reporting Mechanism

  • In-App Flagging: Every product listing page has a 'Report Listing' button. Buyers can instantly flag any listing that violates safety standards, specifying the category of violation.
  • Direct Email Reporting: You can email safety concerns directly to safety@sirf.one. Please include the product page URL and a description of the objectionable content.
  • WhatsApp Safety Hotline: You can report violations via WhatsApp at +91 81091 00838 for instant team review.

5. Compliance & Legal Governing

  • SIRF strictly complies with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Information Technology Rules, 2021 (Intermediary Guidelines), and all applicable Indian consumer safety codes.
  • Our Chief Compliance Officer oversees our trust, safety, and moderation teams to ensure full legal alignment.

Need to File a Safety Report?

If you encounter any content violating our Child Safety Guidelines or standard listing policies, please report it immediately. Our safety team actively processes every request within 24 hours.
