Resume Content Checker

Review resume text against a local checklist: five section-word signals, role keywords, numeric patterns and suggestions. Import TXT or DOCX, or paste text. Your resume is not uploaded or sent to AI, and no credits are charged.

Up to 5 MB; 60,000 text characters. Images, layout, headers and footers are not assessed. For PDF text, the separate PDF-to-Word converter requires server-processing consent.

Up to 50 keywords. These replace the built-in English role list. Include only skills and claims that are accurate for you.

Check resume wording and keyword coverage

  1. Import TXT or DOCX, or paste the text you want to review. Check imported text for missing material.
  2. Enter your target role. Optionally replace the built-in role keywords with up to 50 terms from your target job description.
  3. Run the checklist, review five section-word signals and matched/missing keywords, then download the JSON report or edit your resume.

Resume checker questions

Does the score predict ATS results or interviews?

No. These are transparent local rules based on keywords, section-related words, length and simple numeric patterns. They do not run an employer’s parser or validate qualifications. A heading word can appear outside its section, and a legitimate section can use different wording.

Is my resume uploaded or saved?

The checker processes text and imported files on your device, without AI requests, automatic saving or account sync. The downloaded report excludes the full resume text. If you separately choose PDF-to-Word conversion, that tool explains its server upload and requires consent.

What does DOCX import include?

It reads the main document’s paragraph text, including text in tables, tabs and line breaks. It does not read image-only content, headers, footers, comments or text inside embedded files, and does not assess visual formatting. Encrypted documents and unsupported XML are rejected.
