Convert selectable PDF text into an editable Word document. The existing converter keeps text flow, detected headings, lists and page breaks. It does not reproduce complex tables, images or the original page layout, and does not perform OCR.

One PDF, up to 10 MB and 40 pages. Encrypted PDFs and scans without selectable text are unsupported.

  2. Confirm that SIRF may process this file on its server, then choose Convert to Word.
  3. Download the DOCX and review text, detected headings, lists and page breaks in your word processor.

Conversion questions

Does it preserve the original layout?

This converter rebuilds editable text flow. It detects simple headings and list items and adds page breaks. It does not reconstruct images, tables, columns, fonts or exact positioning. Numbered list items become bullet items. Keep the original PDF.

Can it convert scanned PDFs?

No OCR is included. Image-only PDFs are rejected. For mixed documents, the result reports how many pages contained selectable text; image-only pages will not contribute text.

Where is my file processed?

Only after you confirm the upload, SIRF processes it in a temporary server directory. The converter deletes its temporary input and output files when processing finishes, including conversion failures. It does not send document contents to an external AI or document service.
